Question and Answers (FAQ’s)Why should I buy an extended warranty policy? · More than 50% of the handset develops problems even in the last months of first year of the manufacturer’s warranty, so if you think of keeping your handset for another year it is most certain that it will develop some sort of problem, · Getting a handset repair is expensive, sometimes the cost can he as much as the price of the old handset, · Often genuine, reliable repairs to not working handsets are expensive What cover do I receive? As a customer of Extended warranty Program, you will be offered cover against the second year warranty for 365 days over and above the manufacturer’s warranty under this policy. This cover provides complete protection to you against any unforeseen stoppage of the handset, and covers both parts and labour. Very importantly some exclusion applies, such as battery and charger are not covered. Liquid damage is not covered under this policy. When does the cover start? The Extended Warranty cover, starts from the time your manufacturer’s warranty expires and covers you for another full 365 days over and above the manufacturer’s warranty. It covers for any unforeseen repair cost for the second year, it will reimburse you the labour charges and the part charges for your repair, as mentioned in your repair invoice. What do I do if my phone stops working? In case of any such problems faced by you, simply go to any authorized repair centre for the respective brand of phone you have or phone Mobileshoppee claims helpline on phone number 011-22777580 / 22788184. Mobileshoppee would extend any due help to the customers to guide him through the claim process. Our numbers are open for the customers from Monday to Friday 10 Am to 6 Pm. The customers are required to furnish the following papers while claiming for the insurance, a) the original invoice of the handset, b) the completely filled original policy duly signed by the customer, c) Estimate of Repair ( For Approval* ), d) the original repair invoice. * No repair should start unless authorized by Mobileshoppee. Is the protection insured? Yes, it is fully insured by The Oriental Insurance Company Limited. The certificate of Insurance clearly gives you the address of the divisional office covering this policy. Under what conditions will the phone be replaced? Only when the cost of repair is uneconomical in the event of Breakdown How much do i have to pay for insurance ? PRICE BAND (Rs.) : AMOUNT (Rs.) Upto 4000 : INR 85.00 4001-6000 : INR 110.00 6001-10000 : INR 140.00 10001-15000 : INR 180.00 15001-25000 : INR 280.00 25001-40000 : INR 399.00 IMP : Rs. 100 will be charged extra for delivery. How to get insurance policy ? The procedure is very simple. Make transfer of payment of amount as specified above in accordance to your Invoice & Price Band, forward us details by Mail / Fax. / Telephone and we will dispatch Insurance Policy to your specified address.
